Free entry • November 6th, 7.00pm Solar Energy (speaker to be confirmed). Free entry • December 4th, 7.00pm Christmas Cake, Museli and Hovering Helicopters (What is Energy and Carbon Footprints in the Sand), Gareth Padfield and Margaret Campbell. Free entry. Wirral Earth Fest 2015 - Saturday 12th September 11am - 5pm TTWK and St Bridget's Church come together to bring you a celebration of community, people and earth. With local music & street theatre, food & real ale, stalls & activities, storytelling and magic... There will be a Homegrown Bananas Open Stage Session in the afternoon, so why not come along and share your talent, be it musical, poetical, physical performance or more! West Kirby Farmers' Market - Saturday 26th September 9am to 1pm 30 stalls, selling fresh local fish & meat, cheese & eggs, seasonal fruit & veg, cakes & bakes, and a whole lot more. Monthly newsletter on the market website www.westkirbyfarmersmarket.co.uk Reflective walk to Hilbre Island - Saturday 24th October. Join us for a reflective walk to Hilbre Island. Meet at the slipway by the Sailing School at 12 to leave at 12:15. Bring lunch to share. We'll return at about 3pm. Fungus Foray - Sunday 25th October 10.30am - 2pm (approx) A guided walk with herbalist Jesper Launder. Discover the fungi on Caldy Hill and find out what's edible and what's not. Travelling Light Lantern Peace Parade - Wednesday, 11th November 5.30pm Meet at Coronation Gardens, West Kirby for our annual lantern parade for all the family to celebrate peace and sharing. Bring a lantern or a light. Walk down the Prom to the beach where we will share St Martin's biscuits, a drink and music by firelight. Look out for lantern workshops in the weeks before the parade.
