The hall, situated by Frankby Green, was built in 1921 and gifted to the local community by Lord Royden and has been in use for local groups since that time.
There is a bowling green, arguably the best on Wirral, which is maintained by the bowlers all year. New players are always welcome and there are league matches, cup games and friendly games as well as in-club tournaments.
The main hall is hired out on a regular basis for Scottish Dancing, Line Dancing, Dog Handling and Indoor Bowls (in winter) and is available for hire at weekends and most days all year round. There is a smaller Committee Room for ordinary meetings, together with a modern kitchen and a Bar, which can also be hired. Car parking is on site.
Currently, ( July 2013), the hire of the hall is £12 per hour, the Committee Room, £5 per hour and Saturday evenings are £100, with use of all rooms during the day to set up for buffets, discos etc.
