Dee Tour Boat Trips
This 2-hour tour will take you around the beautiful Dee Estuary and Hilbre Islands. Learn more about this Local Nature Reserve and wonder at the variety of wildlife you will see, including Atlantic Grey Seals and a wide range of birds, plus the occasional Harbour Porpoise.

National Freestyle Windsurfing Tour
West Kirby will host the first event in the national UK Windsurfing Freestyle Tour over the weekend of 13/14 April 2013.
West Kirby is one of the country's top windsurfing destinations. We recently saw windsurfers from as far afield as Sweden and Norway coming to try their luck, reaching up to 50 mph down the wall in recent strong winds.
But it's not all about speed. West Kirby Marine Lake also provides remarkably flat water, even when the wind is howling, providing ideal conditions for one of the sports most visually exciting and challenging disciplines.
Come down to the lake over the weekend of the event to see some of the top windsurfers in the country competing in what promises to be a tightly fought competition. West Kirby is ideal for the event and spectators alike. Take a walk around the wall over the weekend and you will get right up close to the action.

Friends Group
A group of local residents and users of the magnificent West Kirby Marine Lake and Wirral Sailing Centre are in the process of setting up a "Friends" group, to try and help improve the fabric, environment and to promote the use of the Wirral Sailing Centre and Marine Lake.
The group are now in the process of drafting a constitution, and are looking to adopt the constitution and appoint members to the committee.
